What a Party, Part Deux!

Mason considered himself to be the luckiest man alive when, after winning team MVP for the second year in a row...he got to hang out post game with Taryne Mowatt of the Washington Glory.

When reached for comment, Ms. Mowatt said:

"Marvin is a very nice guy, oh wait..it's Mason? Okay, well, Mason is a very nice guy, but until he gets three Espy awards...he doesn't have a chance."

Sorry Maseman.

What a Party!

Mason got plenty of autographs...and I got a bear hug. If Jared and Mason have pics from the team get together...you'll see them here. And trust me, you'll want to see them!

Trophies for MVP went to Mason and Lindsey. Coach of the Year went to Bruce DePuyt. And you, yes you....should have gotten a DVD of the playoff game and a key chain to commemorate the season. If you missed out, check with Bruce. He has any and all extras.

Insider Sources

Seems a very popular and talented female player is leaving the Philibusters in the dust. It looks as though Brie Jackson is headed to bigger and better softball fields. She has taken a reporter position in Salisbury, MD.

Here is an email I received from her this morning:

Thank You! I will definitely miss the team (both at work and on the field). I'm leaving to become a general assignment reporter at WBOC in Salisbury, MD. I start Sept. 2. I am very excited about this new experience and greatly appreciate the well wishes and support. Go Phillies!!!

Congrats to Brie, now we must search the waiver wire and try to find a replacement for the irreplaceable.
