Calling All Stars

Time to put your money where your mouth is. Since the station is in a financial situation, the team is going to be responsible for paying the entry fee...which means each player will be giving $20 a person to hit the field...and any financial debt left, Coach Bruce has agreed to foot the bill.

As we all know, Bruce's father passed away this past year and Coach Bruce thought that since his Dad was an avid 'baller, that making up the difference would be a great way to remember him. So, thanks to Coach Bruce and his family, the Philibusters live to play another season.

Go Big Red!

'09 Awaits

After a meeting on March 14th, Coach Bruce now knows the schedule...opponents are still a mystery, but it's official. Practice on April 4th, practice on April 11th, and the season opener on APRIL 18th!

Go Phillies!

Hoder's Last Season

How fun is this picture?

It's moments like these that I will miss the most. Mason, Cic and I woke up early in the '08 playoff AM to get to Cabin John and eat breakfast before the big games.

As I take on the next challenge of my professional career, I leave behind my Phellow Phillies...and my friend's you will be missed.

BUT I ain't leaving until June. So, can I please get a few more wins before I go? PLEASE!

What a Party, Part Deux!

Mason considered himself to be the luckiest man alive when, after winning team MVP for the second year in a row...he got to hang out post game with Taryne Mowatt of the Washington Glory.

When reached for comment, Ms. Mowatt said:

"Marvin is a very nice guy, oh wait..it's Mason? Okay, well, Mason is a very nice guy, but until he gets three Espy awards...he doesn't have a chance."

Sorry Maseman.
